NSW Minister for Community Services Linda Burney recently announced that $1.2 million funding will go to Relationships Australia NSW to run a new state-wide support service for those who grew up in children’s homes, orphanages and institutions from the 1920s to the 1990s.

“I am pleased the Government is investing in an organisation as trusted as Relationships Australia NSW to help our Forgotten Australians,” Ms Burney said.

NSW Minister for Community Services, Linda Burney has officially launched the Mt Druitt Family Referral Service, a new pilot service to support the safety and wellbeing of children and families. Family Referral Services were also launched in Dubbo and Newcastle.

The Mt Druitt Family Referral Service is part of the NSW Government, Keep Them Safe Initiative and is proudly managed by Relationships Australia NSW.
