Group Supervision for Provisional Psychologists

This program is specifically designed to support provisional psychologists undertaking a Psychology Board of Australia approved two-year internship.

In particular, this program meets the guideline requirements for one-on-one supervision with a Board-approved supervisor at a ratio of one hour of supervision to 17.5 hours of supervised practice.

Note:
One third of this supervision requirement can be undertaken as group supervision.

Program structure

Monthly evening group supervision will be provided by qualified, secondary supervisors with at least two years professional experience.

Note:
This program is limited to a maximum of four participants.

Professional Development for Provisional Psychologists

This program is specifically designed to support provisional psychologists undertaking a Psychology Board of Australia approved two-year internship.

In particular, this program meets the guideline requirements for a minimum of 60 hours of professional development per full-time year designed to meet the eight competencies of the internship program.

Program structure

Participants will undertake a counselling skills program specifically designed to introduce participants to systemic family therapy and teach counselling skills.

Note:
Participants must be familiar with basic counselling concepts to be accepted into the program.
